Spring Stripes- OOTD

Finally things are heating up in Melbourne which means I can give my jeans a well deserved wash break and start wearing some of my lighter clothes.

I don't know about you but I love oversized shirts, I find them so easy to wear and obviously the comfort factor is a huge plus. Lately I've been really enjoying pairing this loose fitting Zara shirt with shorts for a quick every day look. The shirt itself is quite casual but the classic striped print keeps things looking put together. Pieces like this are staples in my wardrobe so that justifies the fact that I bought this exact same shirt in white the other day, doesn't it?

For the shorts I went with my trusty dark blue denim pair. They're still going strong but honestly I've worn these so much that they could practically apply for a senior citizens card. I don't wear skirts so shorts are like my outfit bread and butter, where would I be in spring/summer without them? Probably naked, because that's how much skirts and I don't get along.

Thanks to Kate La Vie's Instagram I finally found the boots of my dreams and ended my search for another pair. I love these because they're a little different, but not so different that you couldn't wear them every day with different looks.

Crossing my fingers for more warm weather so that I can whip out the sandals and bare legs. My pale skin could also really use some vitamin D because I'm bordering Casper the Friendly Ghost here...

What I wore-
Shirt: Zara (similar here)
Denim Shorts: Topshop
Ankle Boots: ASOS
Bag: Primark
Sunglasses: Sportsgirl

    1. That usually happens to me too, I can spend hours trying to find one specific thing and end up finding nothing. Instagram is actually a really good place for tracking things down, I've found with the tags I can usually work out where things were from and find it for myself :)

  11. When you find an item of clothing that fits perfectly and that you love you'd be silly not to get it in a couple of colours. Also those boots are awesome! I don't really need another pair now that we're heading into summer but if they go on sale they might end up in my cart.

    1. Well that makes me feel better, sometimes I think I'm not venturing out of my comfort zone enough if I buy the same thing in a different colour but then I think hey, why ruin a good thing?
