I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someone said we all fell into black hole around March and landed in December without a minute passing.
2015 was a special one for me because it marks the year that I dived into the blogging world and finally launched The Sunday Mode after a solid year of wondering whether or not I should take the plunge. So to mark the end of 2015 and also to satisfy my immense love for all kinds of award related things, I thought I'd do the ultimate 2015 round up style post, the round up of all round ups (okay maybe not) but here we go!
Best Youtube Channel of 2015:
Hands down goes to Vivianna Does Makeup. Whether she's talking beauty, skincare, fitness, food or fashion, I'll never miss a video and I'm always excited when she uploads something new.
Best Beauty Product of 2015:
MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural in 'Light,' it's finely milled and my go-to powder for daily use. I haven't found any powder I like more than this one and I can't even count how many of these I've polished off throughout the year.
Best (Reality) TV Show of 2015:
Survivor: Second Chance. The season is wrapped now but I would physically sweat while watching each episode, that's how involved I got. I've also been watching Survivor since I was little so seeing some of the older players back for this season was really enjoyable.
Best The Sunday Mode post of 2015:
Brand Focus: Top MAC Lipsticks was by far my most popular post!
Best Instagram Account/s of 2015:
Best Book of 2015:
Humans Of New York: Stories. Definitely pick this up if you haven't already, it's a really interesting (and quick) read, plus it makes a killer coffee table book. If you're nosy or curious about other people even in the slightest, you'll love this.
Best Quote of 2015:
"You're never given anything you can't handle."
Best Discovery of 2015:
The Bloglovin' app. This baby is great for when you're on the go or travelling because you can keep up to date with all the blogs you follow without having to use your laptop or the Bloglovin mobile version.
Best Purchase of 2015:
The MAC Nordstrom Naturals palette; so good I can't even explain.
That's it guys, let me know what your 2015 highlights/favourites were in the comments below!
